Asking US to get rid of its addiction to wars, which are extremely profitable and important to US economy, is like asking the homeless drug zombies in US cities to stay sober for one more day. So long as the senseless destructions do not touch the homeland. The world needs to devise a way to make it painful for US while it inflicts pain on others.

The naval problem is bigger than surface ships. An unexpected consequence of the Ukraine war is that Russia and DPRK are now in strategic partnership. If that agreement includes patterns for submarine nuclear propulsion, then North Korean SSBNs will soon be cruising off the coast of North America.
