Because Russia certainly hammered them on the frontlines when it got the chance. The Battle of Bakhmut is a good example, where Russia – intentionally or not – drew some of Ukraine’s best brigades into battle, fixed and attritted them, preventing their participation in the 2023 Ukrainian counter offensive.

But the Ukrainians were always going to get the final say in which of their formations fought where, so this comes across as asking Russia to do the impossible.

But I take great issue with the claim of a possible compromise with AH if the Germans has reached Antwerp. There is absolutely no evidence to back this up !
