On what you might ask? Answer: On pretty much everything from nuclear power and trade to issues of War and Peace (Ukraine, Gaza, South China Sea).

It should do this by fully funding the conferences. It would send participants an invitation to attend an all expense paid trip to the Chinese city where the event is taking place and add a time limited payment / debit card of up to maybe $10,000 to $100,000 for the parties attending the conference. Any money not spent by the attendees before they leave China can simply be reclaimed when the credit card expires.

This “Policy of Engagement”should have a stimulative effect on the city where the conference is taking place. This spending would target the service sector, in particular the hospitality sector. It would also allow China to showcase its best products to foreigners. In addition, it would greatly expand China’s Soft Power, making it the diplomatic center of the emerging world order.

Under the rules of Soft Currency Economics, aka MMT, China can afford pretty much anything in its own currency. Given the size of China’s economy and the current alleged deflation, this would be trivial for the Chinese economy, since it can simply create the money.

Let’s say maybe 10 – 20 Billion dollars per year on conference spending. Or start at 5 billion and work up.
